John Scott Productions
Animals, Wrangling & Stunts
100+ trained horses, buffalo, cattle and longhorns — with the wranglers and stunt coordinators who have worked beside Hollywood’s biggest names.
Working animals, handled by people who know camera work
John Scott began stunt work in 1969 and went on to head-wrangle productions including Unforgiven and Legends of the Fall. That experience runs through the team today: horses trained to stand for dialogue, hit a mark and work around cameras, cranes and crowds, and wranglers who plan every animal scene with the assistant directors.

Safety first, every day
Every animal sequence is planned in advance — species, number of animals, action, performers, rehearsal and welfare requirements — and run under the direction of the head wrangler and stunt coordinator. Insurance, animal-welfare and safety documentation is provided to productions on request.
Plan animal work early
Include species, numbers, action, performers, dates and unit size in your inquiry so the team can confirm availability and preparation time.
